We regret to inform you that we are cancelling the 2020 Oregon Dental Conference. The decision to cancel the conference is based on Governor Kate Brown's recently announced ban on public gatherings of more than 250 people, as well as growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Oregon. We share the frustration of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners in having to adapt to circumstances that are beyond our control. While this is obviously a disappointing turn of events, we have an obligation to protect public health and the safety of conference attendees, staff and the broader community. We will be refunding the tuition of all registered attendees, but given the size of the conference, we ask for your patience in this process. If you booked lodging accommodations that you do not intend to utilize, please contact the appropriate property and request a cancellation. Unfortunately, because of the magnitude of the three-day conference, rescheduling at the Oregon Convention Center this year is not a viable option. We are exploring alternative ways to provide continuing education to the dental community and will share information as opportunities are available. We appreciate your support of the Oregon Dental Conference and look forward to your participation at the 2021 Oregon Dental Conference, scheduled for April 8-10 at the Oregon Convention Center. For additional questions, please email odc@oregondental.org. Thank you for your support and understanding in this unexpected situation.
